Geoff White - ELC/Admissions Director
I was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. I received my B.A. in Public Administration from San Diego State University. In 2008, I moved up to Seattle and started working at a Preschool and after-school program. I worked for 11 years as a teacher and eventually as the Program Supervisor.
I then moved to Walla Walla with my wife and now two children to become the Director of the Early Learning Center for the WWCS. In addition to serving as the ELC Director, I also coached 7th and 8th grade basketball and baseball.
This year I have accepted the additional roles of Dean of Students at Assumption School, and Enrollment Coordinator for the Walla Walla Catholic Schools.
My Goals and Objectives
My goals are to improve our enrollment, retention, student life, and community communication here at the Walla Walla Catholic Schools.
I will strive to be an effective communicator to all staff, faculty, students, families, and the Walla Walla community.
I pledge to do my best to monitor and enhance the quality of student life here at Assumption School.
I have an open-door policy and encourage all of the WWCS community to feel free to contact me.
Maria Rodriguez - Program Supervisor
Maria G. Rodriguez was born April 7th 1970 in Mexico. She moved to Walla Walla on Spetember of 1990. She and her husband, Hector, have four children. Ever since she was a child she was interested in the caring for children and would offer around to babysit neighborhood children without anything in return just because she wanted to enjoy and spend time with them.
When she moved to Walla Walla she began to attend community college to take English and classes to prepare her to work with children, which was always her dream. Maria began to work for Head start. She has been working at the Early Learning Center for about 14 years and is a bilingual teacher.
Maria believes that working with kids is not just her job but her opportunity of happiness. It is a blessing for her to see a smile or a happy face. Maria continues to take classes at the college with the purpose of helping children in their educational and emotional development. She wants to help families feel that the ELC can be their second home.
