Walla Walla Catholic Schools are a ministry of the three Catholic parishes of Walla Walla. In the fall of 2007, the WWCS was established as a Washington Nonprofit Corporation with a Board of Directors responsible for its business affairs and a Canonical Administrator, appointed by the Bishop of Spokane, responsible for its Catholic identity and all religious affairs, including the religion curriculum. In 2017, the Bylaws were amended to have the President of WWCS also appointed by the Bishop of Spokane. The Board is responsible for policy, planning, public relations, and oversight; day to day operations of the WWCS are primarily the responsibility of the President and senior administrative staff.
